Alaska
Melena is a medium-early potato variety with big and regular tubers. Oval to long oval shape.
Its skin and flesh are yellow.
Strong growing plant, well adapted to Mediterranean conditions.
It has a good frying colour at harvest.
Good storage ability
Its resistance to external damage, internal damage, internal rust spot and desprouting is fairly high.
